Kristina M. Jurek, 38, Hibbing, died unexpectedly, Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 in Virginia, MN.  She was born April 24, 1977 in Hibbing the daughter of Steven and Patricia Jurek.  Kristina graduated from the Chisholm High School in 1995 and had worked as a waitress for various restaurants including The Bach Yen, The Whistling Bird and The Sawmill.  In her free time, Kristina spent her time with the family she loved.  She also enjoyed arts and crafts, home decorating or enjoying a good book.

She is survived by her children Nathan, Emily and Gavin all of Hibbing, her mother Patricia Jurek of Chisholm, MN, her father Steven (Marsha) Jurek of Centralia, WA, brothers: Steven (Tammy Stark) Jurek of Hibbing, and Michael and Kevin Jurek of Centralia, WA, a sister Kimberly Conroy of St. Paul, MN, her partner, Eric Russo of Hibbing and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 in the Hibbing Alliance Church, 4220 3 ^rd Ave. W., in Hibbing.  Visitation will be in the church from 11:30 a.m. until service time.  Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.
