Aaron Matthew Dahl

Aaron Matthew Dahl, 36, of Hibbing, passed away on Jan. 28, 2017, at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.
He was born in Hibbing on Dec. 1, 1980. Aaron graduated from the Hibbing High School in 1999 and attended Hibbing Community College. He worked for Mid-Range Construction.
Aaron was a man of many hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, golfing and being outdoors. He loved watching sports and talking about them. He had a great love for all kinds of music, and had a special passion for playing the guitar. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He had a generous nature and a heart of gold.
With his great smile, he made friends easily. When he was young, he enjoyed playing sports and going on family fishing trips. He was forever watching over his younger brother and sisters. What gave him the most pleasure was spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He will be remembered with great love and fondness by all of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Aaron will be forever missed by so many.
He is survived by parents, Brian and Linda Dahl of Hibbing; siblings: Adam (Alana) Dahl of Elk River, Minn., Alison (Jason) Stanaway of Virginia and Ashley (Peyton Servaty) Dahl of Duluth; nieces and nephew: Isabelle Dahl, Landon Dahl and Nora Stanaway; grandfather, Vern Dahl of Virginia; cousin, Craig Massich of Hibbing; girlfriend, Jessica Husted of Plymouth, Minn.; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ronald and Jean Sallila, and paternal grandmother, Sylvia Dahl.
Funeral: A memorial service will be held at
11:30 a.m.
Saturday, March 11
, at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing.
Visitation: A gathering of family and friends being held for one hour prior to the service

at the funeral home.
Burial: A private family burial will be held at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
