Adeline I. Meyer, 95, Hibbing, formerly of Baxter, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Guardian Angels Health Care Center in Hibbing.  She was born on January 8, 1917, in Nobles County, MN to Carl and Emelie Hakeneis.  Adeline was united in marriage to Edward Meyer on July 14, 1937 and had lived in Fulda, MN for much of her life.  She later lived in Baxter for 20 years and had lived in Hibbing for the past 7 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (James) Postance of Meadowlands, MN; a son, Wayne (Barbara) Meyer of Yellville, AR; 3 grandchildren:  Brenda Peloquin, Rhonda Meyer, and Kim (Dean) Forsythe; and numerous nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1985; by her parents; and by siblings Arnold Hakeneis, Ervin Hakeneis, and Louise Harder.
