Alan J. Roswold

Alan J. Roswold, 71, Hibbing died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth, MN.  He was born March 5, 1952, to Lawrence and Marilyn (Brown) Roswold in Hibbing.  He graduated from Cherry High School and proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.  Alan specialized in missile launchers.  He was stationed in Germany during his time with the Army, but also traveled throughout Europe.  He was a member of Faith United Lutheran Church in Cherry.  He enjoyed taking care of his dear companion, Kitty, hunting, fishing, gardening, and collecting cookbooks.  He became an excellent cook of late.  Alan enjoyed feeding the birds, and deer, and loved his dog, Sweetie. 

            He is survived by his companion and friend, Kitty Robinson, Hibbing, brother, Joel  Roswold, Hibbing, and his niece, Beth Johnson, Virginia, MN.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marilyn, brother, Ted Roswold, and his sister, Lorita Bratz.

            Funeral services for Alan will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Clinton Town Hall in Clinton, TWP.  Janet Peterson will officiate.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
