Albert Keith Zebott
Albert Keith Zebott, 92, Chisholm, formerly of Silica, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Heritage Manor in Chisholm. He was born in Proctor, MN to Roy and Lydia Zebott on March 15, 1920 and lived most of his life in Silica. He was an Air Traffic Controller for the Navy and after retiring from the Navy he was a controller for the FAA. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf and baseball. Keith was a member of the American Legion Post 222, VFW Post 8510, Navy Fleet Reserve, Duluth Post 349, TREA, and the Lynwood Silica Seniors.
He is survived by his children, Lynda (Robert) Stavnes, Hibbing, Carole (John) Lawler, Duluth, Janice (Harvey) Lucas, Hibbing, Deborah (Jack) Olin, Duluth, and Albert Keith (Michelle) Zebott Jr., St. Augustine, FL, his sister, Arlene Broker, Hibbing, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, his parents, and a sister Katherine Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Thursday, July 19, 2012 in the Dougherty Funeral Home with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the VFW Post 8510 Honor Guard.
