Amelia Jo Damjanovich
Amelia J. Damjanovich, 23 months, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, ND., after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was born on April 29, 2010 to Mickey Damjanovich and Amy Warner in Bemidji, MN. Amelia had a smile that would melt your heart. She loved Elmo, watching Dora the Explorer, and had a great interest in watching the birds outside.
She is survived by her mother, Amy Warner, and father, Mickey Damjanovich both of Hibbing, her brother, Preston Thronson, Hibbing, and sister, Jozie Damjanovich, Chisholm, MN., her paternal grandparents, Mike (Cyndi) Damjanovich, Hibbing, maternal grandparents, Teri (Jesse) Lentze, Hibbing, and Mike (Abby) Warner, Hibbing, her maternal great-grandparents, Carol Johnson, Hibbing, Richard Johnson, Hibbing, and Marvel Warner, Mt. Iron, MN., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services for Amelia will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Erik Holleque will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the 11:00am funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. In honor of Amelia, in lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, ND.
