Anina M. Capanoli

Anina M. Capanoli, 90, Hibbing, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Chisholm. She was born in Stevenson Location near Hibbing on Oct. 17, 1924, to Frank and Maria Capanoli. Anina graduated from Hibbing High School and during World War II, she worked at the Pentagon for the Department of the Navy. Later she worked for American Linen and Hibbing General Hospital. She was a member of the Carmelites, Sacred Heart Club, and the Blue Army.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by six siblings.

Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015, at Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service.   Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com .  Due to flower allergies, Anina’s family requests that no flowers be sent to her funeral.
