Anita Bottoms

Anita Mae (Seppa) Bottoms, 86, of Hibbing passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, September 14, 2018 at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hibbing. She was born June 10, 1932 in North Hibbing to Lauri and Signe Seppa. She attended Hibbing Schools, graduating in 1950 and was a lifelong Hibbing resident. She was a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma. Anita is survived by her six children: Oren (Kathy) Bottoms, Hibbing, Susan (John) Sorci, Duluth, Stephanie (Ken) Rancourt, Hibbing, Pamela Bottoms, Minnetonka, Jane (Terry) Garrity, Hibbing and Joan (Joe) Vespa, Hibbing, eleven grandchildren: Jessica (Jason) Jacobson, OJ (Allison) Bottoms, John (Emily) Bottoms, Ben (Julia) Rancourt, Nick Rancourt, Amber Rancourt, John Sorci, Vince Sorci, Marissa Vespa, Madeline Vespa, Joey Vespa and eight great-grandchildren, Ava, Ryan, Noah, Jack , Bailey, Sam, Mia, Olivia and special niece Rosann (Doug) Fitzekam of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Ann Pakiz. To honor Anita’s wishes, a private family service will be held at Dougherty Funeral Home.
