Ann Therese Lendacky

Ann T. Lendacky, 93, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  She was born on July 26, 1922 to Guy and Matilda (Nauglich) Stilinovich in Hibbing.  She entered the Sacrament of Marriage with Jack L. Lendacky on August 12, 1941 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing.  A homemaker by trade, Ann’s passion was cooking, she loved making ethnic dishes and cooking for her family.  She also enjoyed fishing, baking and doing various art projects.  She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8510 of Hibbing.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 75 years, Jack Lendacky, Hibbing, children, Rosalind (Robert) Whalen, Virginia, MN, Joan (Christopher) Cotton, Hibbing, daughter-in-law, Nona Lendacky, Hibbing, five grandchildren, Therese (Brian) Dlugosch, Steven (Vivian) Whalen, Joseph (Robyn) Lendacky, Danielle Lendacky, and Jacob (Ralista) Kendacky, ten great-grandchildren, Mollianne, Joey, Jade, Colin, Sean, Drake, Ariana, Andrew, Sonja, and Khloe, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Lendacky, infant daughter, parents, Guy and Matilda (Nauglich) Stilinovich, four brothers, Nick, John, William, and Joseph Stilinovich, and three sisters, Ruby Stilinovich, Katherine Hilton, and Rose Munger.

Funeral services for Ann will be 11:00am, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing.  The Rev. Fr. Frank Perkovich will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the 11:00am Mass at the church on Thursday.  Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
