Ann E. Petroske, age 52, Virginia, MN and Hibbing, MN.  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Petroske. Ann passed away peacefully the evening of December 10 ^th with Family present.

She leaves behind many family members and friends and will be deeply missed.  Ann was born April 11 ^th 1964.  Ann was a determined fighter and strived to live her life as independent as possible.  Her graduation from High School and College in Hibbing is a testament to her strength. As a person of faith, Ann maintained that faith over the years and it grew stronger with each passing day. One of her greatest joys’ was singing, and the numerous years she sang Christmas Carol’s in the various church choirs were the happiest of times for her.

With each new stop or chapter in her life, she left behind a trail of many new friends. Her impact on those people, and all of us will be everlasting. She will be – and is – greatly missed.

Ann is survived by her parents John & Elizabeth Petroske, and leaves behind her “big brothers” Michael (Cindy), Thomas (Mary) and David (Jennifer) as well as nieces Jennifer, Susan and Christy, and nephew’s Alex, Kyle & Tyler. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice, or show kindness to someone less fortunate, something Ann would have done. The family also wishes to thank all the wonderful staff members at Edgewood Vista, Essentia Health in Virginia and St Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.

A Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday December 17 ^th at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Hibbing at 11:00am.  Visitation will be in the church, Saturday from 10 am. until service time.
