Anne C. Knezovich

Anne C. Knezovich age 71 of Hibbing, MN passed away Friday, September 6,

2024, at Essentia St. Mary’s in Duluth. She was born May 25, 1953, to Boniface

and Leona (Welle) Rolfzen in Wadena, MN. Anne attended Hibbing High School,

graduating with the class of 1971. Following graduation, she attended Hibbing

Community College for two years before completing her bachelor’s degree at the

U of M Twin Cities Campus in Social Work. Anne worked for 15 years at the

Hibbing Hospital as a social worker before starting and eventually retiring her

career at St. Louis County also as a social worker. Anne had an incredible passion

and talent for playing piano and shared it by teaching others, playing at various

venues, and would often play organ for numerous churches in town. Her favorite

hobbies were spending time out in the garden keeping up her flowers, knitting

garments for friends and family, and relaxing to a good read. More than anything,

Anne loved spending time with her husband, Michael, her two sons, and her five

grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Chisholm Baptist Church. Anne

is survived by her husband, Michael Knezovich, sons, Brent (Laura) Kleffman,

Scott (Angela) Kleffman, siblings, Mary (Steve) Vehrenkamp, Jane (Dave)

Moore, Bill (Nancy) Rolfzen, grandchildren, Kira, Shout, Rosie, Jaycee and

Allyse Kleffman. A private service for the immediate family will be held at a later

date.
