Ardelle E. Berklich

Ardelle E. Berklich, 77, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born August 26, 1947, to Vilho and Saimi (Maki) Siekkinen in Hibbing. Ardelle attended Hibbing schools thru 10th grade and moved to Grand Forks where she graduated from Grand Forks Central High School. She entered the Sacrament of Marriage with Michael Berklich on May 5, 1967, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. She was employed with Kiddy Karousel Day Care in Hibbing. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Hibbing. Ardelle loved feeding the birds and squirrels and enjoyed making trips to the casino. She was extremely social and made friends with just about anyone she would meet. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Michael Berklich, Hibbing, three children, Joseph (Michelle) Berklich, Cave Junction, OR, Stephanie Vensland, Wilmington, NC, and Jennifer (Jon) Myre, Tuscon, AZ, her two siblings, Michael (Bev) Siekkinen, Kelly Lake, MN, and Carla Horner, Seattle, WA, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vilho and Saimi.
