Barbara J. Spotts

Barbara J. Spotts, 79, Side Lake, MN, died Wed. Nov. 14, 2018 at home.  She was born Sept. 18, 1939 in Hibbing to Louis and Amelia Toscano.  She married Gerald Spotts in Hibbing in 1957 and she had worked at the Mesaba Clinic as a record keeper.  She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved to bake and cook for her family.

She is survived by her husband Gerald, her children: Daniel (Rhonda) Spotts of International Falls, MN, Thomas (Sherri) Spotts of Rohnert Park, CA, Gerald Spotts of Side Lake, MN, Peter (Krista) Spotts of Hibbing and Sam Spotts of Side Lake, siblings: Marilyn (Jim) Simon, Kay (Jack) Kapla and Tom Toscano all of Hibbing, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her grandson Kristopher Spotts.

Funeral services will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m.  Visitation will be in the church starting at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
