Bernadine “Bunny” (Flynn) Fleming
Bernadine “Bunny” (Flynn) Fleming, 53, Side Lake, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday Nov. 22, 2011. She was born on Oct. 26, 1958, in Hibbing to Dr. Bernard and Lucille Flynn. Bunny was united in marriage to Michael J. Fleming on Sept. 23, 1974, and they had two children, Jeremy J. and Joshua M. Bunny enjoyed fishing, playing with her two yorkies, barbequing, canoeing, sewing, crocheting, jig saw puzzles, playing games on her computer, and living out at Side Lake. She had been a former member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing and a current member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm. Bunny had served as a board member at Advantage Billing Concepts in Hibbing.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Fleming of Side Lake; 2 sons, Jeremy (Jennifer) Fleming of Chisholm and Joshua Fleming of Side Lake, MN; a sister, Carolyn (Ron) Shimek of Grand Rapids, MN; 4 brothers: Bernard “Skip” (Sandy) Flynn of Lakeville, MN, Patrick (Rhonda) Flynn of Lake Conroe, TX, Robert (Jeanne) Flynn of Perch Lake, MN, and James (Michelle) Flynn of Las Vegas, NV; 2 grandchildren, Sean and Isaac Fleming, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be6—8 PM Monday Nov. 28, 2011 at Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, with parish wake prayers at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
