Bert Darrel Lantz

Bert Darrel Lantz died Wednesday March 13, 2023, at home. He was born March 27, 1937, in Hibbing to Walt and Faye Lantz.He married Marie Hardy on September 17, 1955, in Hibbing where they raised their family. They were married for 51 years. After he retired, they moved to Yuma, AZ where they spent many happy years enjoying the sun. For the past 4 years Bert has been living at the Lee Center in Hibbing enjoying his time with his pups Heidi and Daisy. He enjoyed cooking and was always looking up new recipes to try. Whether it was soup or a cake it was always delicious. Bert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marie, sister, Mable, brother, Vernon, son, Mark, grandson, Casey, and special friend, Glenda Good. Bert is survived by son, Currie (Sharon) Lantz, daughter-in-law, Shirley Lantz, grandchildren, Theresa (Scott) Eades, Jessie (Seth) Westby, Adam (Kim) Lantz great-grandchildren Savanna Westby, Lily Lantz, AnnMarie Eades, Franky Eades and sister, Ethel (Galen) Erickson.
