Beverly A. Pernat
Beverly A. Pernat, 78, Buhl, MN, died Thursday, June 9, 2016 in her home. She was born in Hibbing, MN to Peter and Ann Levar. Beverly was a longtime Buhl resident having made her home there for the past 53 years. She and her husband Jack, along with George and Mary Ann Pernat had owned and operated Bimbo’s Octagon for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Buhl and a past member of the Buhl Curling Club. In her free time she loved to play bridge with her bridge club or spend time in her flower and vegetable gardens.
She is survived by children Ann (Clayton) McCue of Side Lake, MN, Kelly (Jon) Marcus
of Las Vegas, NV and Joseph (Sarah) Pernat of Grand Marais, MN, her sister Kathleen Puhek of Buhl, two grandchildren, Preston McCue of Hibbing and Neil (Lindsey) McCue of Los Angeles, CA, 2 great grandchildren Bentley and Shayde McCue along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Pernat in 2009 and her parents.
Private graveside funeral services in the Lakeview Cemetery, Buhl, MN. There will be a public gathering of family and friends at the Buhl Community Center on Monday, June 13, 2016 starting at 1:00 p.m. Please join the family. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.
