Bonnie A. Buchwitz, 63, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born April 27, 1950 to Ernest and Ida (Bonvincin) Styles in Hibbing. She was employed with I.S.D. 701 as a special education teacher at the Washington Elementary School in Hibbing. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing where she was a deacon. She was also an active member of the Christian Education Committee.
She is survived by her son, Joe Buchwitz of Hibbing. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, and her ex-husband, John Buchwitz in June.
Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Jim Deters will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Thursday. Memorials are preferred to the First Presbyterian Youth Groups, Junior and Senior High. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
