Brenda Bernice Danielson

Brenda Bernice Danielson age 82 of Hibbing passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl with her husband and son, Scott by her side. She was born September 16, 1940 in Chisholm to Vincent and Vivian (Mattson) Bronson. Brenda attended Hibbing schools graduating from high school in 1958 and the Hibbing Junior College in 1959. With her secretarial degree from junior college Brenda enjoyed a 40-year long career for the engineering firm Davey McKee, later named Noramco. In 1964 she entered the sacrament of marriage to Howard Danielson at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. Brenda was a past member of the Women’s Bowling League and more recently attended bible study with a group of friends. She enjoyed fishing trips to the Sioux Narrows with Howard and always looked forward to their annual trip to Kettle Falls on Namakan with Jane and Clay Ranta. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Vivian. She is survived by her husband, Howard “Butch” Danielson, Hibbing, MN, sons, Jeff (Susan) Danielson, Rochester, MN, Scott (Julie) Danielson, Chisholm, MN, siblings, Vincent (Linda) Bronson Jr., Milford, IA, Janet Driscoll, St. Michael, MN, Brian (Colette) Bronson, Alpena, MI, grandchildren, Allison (Eric) Wendorf, Amy (Zach Mackey) Goerdt, Emily Danielson, Megan (Dan Rusten) Danielson and Jack Danielson, greatgrandchildren, Elizabeth and Jace Goerdt. A memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date.
