Brett Richard Rossi, 58, lifelong Chisholm area resident died Friday July 14, 2017 surrounded by his family at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul. He was born in Chisholm to Richard and Diane (Hill) Rossi on July 31, 1958 and married Yvonne Wilen on April 29, 1989. Brett was employed as a Machine Operator at Minnesota Twist Drill in Chisholm for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne, two sons, Anthony Richard Rossi and Andrew Theodore Rossi both of Chisholm, his mother, Diane Pernat, Balkan, siblings, Bart (Mary) Rossi, Ham Lake, MN, Denise (Steve) Schmalz, Hibbing, William (Lynda) Trenberth, and John Pernat both of Balkan, and Ricky (Don) Rossi-Pace, Evensville, Ind., sisters in law Corinne (John) Fredrickson, Hermantown, Dawn Kangas, Chisholm, brother in law, Todd (Pollie) Wilen, Buhl, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Richard, mother and father in law, Barb and Ted Wilen.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am. Wednesday July 19, 2017 in the Open Door Church in Hibbing with Pastor Roland Weaver officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
