            Carole A. Scipioni, 86, lifelong resident of Chisholm died Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  She was born August 25, 1937 to Nino and Florence (Costanzi) Fiorio in Chisholm, MN.  Carole went to Beauty School and became a beautician.  She also had been a cashier for Spies grocery.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm.  She was a member of ALANON, a girl scout and cub scout leader when her children were active.  Carole was very artistic.  She enjoyed knitting, cooking, painting, scrap booking, and making cards.  She was also a day care provider, especially with Parker.  Most of all, Carole enjoyed spending time with her family.

            She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Dan) Marich, and John (Raymi) Scipioni, both of Hibbing, MN, her grandson, Parker Scipioni, Hibbing, and numerous cousins, and other close relatives. 

            She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Joy Brant, husband, Gino Scipioni, her parents, Nino and Florence, and sister Marlene Cullen.

            Funeral services for Carole will be 11:00am, Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  Rev. Fr. Paul Strommer will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home on Thursday.  Interment will be in Chisholm Cemetery in Chisholm, MN.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
