Carole J. Waseleski, 78, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.  She was born on June 17, 1939 to John and Jeanne (Hughes) Butorac in Hibbing.  She attended school at St. Scholastica in Duluth.  She was later employed as an office manager with State Farm Insurance Company in Hibbing for many years.

Family was extremely important to Carole, her pride and joy.  She enjoyed attending all sporting events and activities that her children and grandchildren participated in, especially watching her son and her grandsons’ race over the years.  She was a member of the Hibbing Catholic Community.

Carole is survived by her husband, Wallace L. “Wally” Waseleski, Hibbing, her children, Lori (Kyle) Haskins, Tulsa, OK, Diane (Kevin) Clowe, Apple Valley, MN, Cathy McKay, Edina, MN, Tom & Beau Waseleski, Hibbing, and Karen (Nick Senich) Waseleski, Hibbing, her siblings, Terry Butorac, Sharon (Gordy) Bredeson, and Mary Jo (Duane) Paloranta, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Carole’s request, there will be a private memorial service held at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
