Carolyn Rae Busha, 62, Keewatin, died Friday, October 18, 2013, at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hibbing.  She was born in Ashland, WI on Feb. 17, 1951, to Lane and Jeanne Johnson.  Carolyn grew up in Babbitt, graduating from Babbitt High School in 1969.  She had worked for many years as an office manager for Mesabi Rehabilitation Services.  In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and genealogy.  She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, John Busha, Jr. of Embarrass; a son, John (Billie) Busha of Keewatin; a daughter, Rachele (Steve) Grover of Bigfork, MN; her mother, Jeanne Johnson of Eveleth; nine grandchildren:  Brittany Ford, Katelyn and Allison Busha, and Trista, Tyler, Melissa, Haley, Andrew, and Kristen Grover; two great-grandchildren, Laylah Ford and Hunter Sternal; a brother, Mike (Terri) Johnson of Virginia, MN; two sisters, Lori (Ed) Gonzalez of Canton, OH and Jackie Johnson of Virginia, MN; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Lane Johnson, and by an infant brother.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 23, 2013, in Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 1 PM until the 2 PM funeral service.   Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Virginia, MN at a later date.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com
