Catherine B. Spadaccini

Catherine B. Spadaccini, 89, longtime resident of Keewatin died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Chisholm, MN.  She was born on June 23, 1928 to Matt and Catherine (Grzinich) Briski in Nashwauk.  After graduating from Nashwauk High School, Catherine was later employed with Northwestern Bell as a telephone operator in Nashwauk.  She entered the Sacrament of Marriage with Anthony Spadaccini on May 17, 1947 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk, MN.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Glenn Kothmann) Spadaccini, San Antonio, TX, grandson, Anthony Wayne “Tony” Spadaccini, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband son, Anthony P. Spadaccini, husband Anthony L. in 1980, her parents Matt and Catherine, ten siblings, Antonia, Matt, Martin, Jessie, Margaret, Mary Jean, Michael, Jimmy, Anna Rae, and Ethel.

Per Catherine’s request there will be no services at this time.  A Spring interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
