Catherine Werman, 87, Hibbing died Monday, December 7, 2015, at home.  She was born on November 8, 1928, to Joseph and Nellie (Wright) DeMillo in Hibbing.  A homemaker by trade, Catherine made sure her children were cared for.  She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hibbing.  One of Catherine’s favorite pastimes was to go fishing with her husband.

She is survived by her two sons, John Joseph Werman, and Randy Werman, both of Hibbing; two sisters, Dorothy Ban, Chisholm, MN, Margaret Novak, Minneapolis; a brother, Louis (Marjory) DeMillo, Hibbing; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Howard Werman.

A private family memorial service will be held at Dougherty Funeral Home at a later date.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.   Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
