Chad E. Green, 36, Hibbing died Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Virginia, MN. He was born on January 10, 1978 to Coy and Kathy (Shoulders) Green in Lawrenceville, IL. He attended high school in Bridgeport, Illinois and attended 2 years of tech school in Indiana. Chad moved to Hibbing in 1998. He was employed with Royal Tire in Virginia as a commercial store manager. Chad’s favorite pastime was music, and he played in various bands across the Iron Range Cities. He loved the outdoors. Chad spent his time, fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, camping and boating on the area lakes with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Green, daughter, Abigail Rose Green and his son, Waylon Coy Green, all of Hibbing, his grandmother, Phyllis Shoulders, Bridgeport, IL, two half sisters, Angela (Roger) Whitehead, IN., and Mindy (Dennis) Wilson, SC., his three half brothers, David Green, Gerald Green, and Wayne Green all of IN., and his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Kathy (Shoulders) Green.
Funeral services for Chad will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the 1:00pm service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
