Chad M. Raukar, 46, Hibbing, MN, died unexpectedly, Wed. Jan. 31, 2018 in Waterford, CA.  He was born Oct. 25, 1971 in Hibbing to Michael and Michele Raukar.  Chad had served in the Air Force where he was stationed in Germany.  He became a welder and worked on the motorcycles he also loved to ride, much like his father did.  He loved to play hockey and while living in Seattle, WA, he played on a competitive hockey league.  When he visited his brother Michael in CA, he made a point to visit Yosemite National Park, a favorite spot of his.  While enjoying the company of friends and family, his most cherished times were spent with his daughter Cali and his girlfriend Betty Sinclair.

He is survived by his daughter Cali Raukar of Navato, CA, his mother Michele Raukar of Hibbing, his brother Mike (Carrie) Raukar of Waterford, CA, his maternal grandmother Lorraine Sorci, Hibbing, nieces and nephews: Dylan, Naveyah, Obadiah and Elijah Raukar, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Michael J. Raukar, maternal grandfather Vince Sorci, paternal grandparents: Richard and Annette Raukar and a close cousin Vince Waldoch.
