Charlene R. Corradi, 49, Hibbing passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at home. She was born on May 1, 1963 to Richard and Ruth (Schiller) LaBarre in Detroit Lakes, MN. The second youngest of eight children, Charlene graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1981 and later achieved a four year degree in Community Services with a minor in music at Bemidji State University in 1985. Bemidji State is where she met her future husband, Robert Corradi. Later they were married in October of 1986, moving to Hibbing in 1987. Charlene was a member of the Open Door Church in Hibbing. The most important thing to Charlene was her children and family. She was determined to spend as much time with them as possible.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Corradi, Hibbing, her four children, Mary Corradi, Minneapolis, MN., Rachel Corradi, Hibbing, Anthony Corradi, Hibbing, and Abigail Corradi, Hibbing., her father, Richard LaBarre, Detroit Lakes, MN., brothers, Mark (Barb) LaBarre, Willmar, MN., Tom (Kim) LaBarre, Chaska, MN., and Dave (Patty) LaBarre, Detroit Lakes, MN., three sisters, Michelle (Mike) Klug, LaCrosse, WI., Annette (Dave) Watson, Wisconsin Dells, WI., and Heidi (Ken) Schumacher, Fargo, ND., her half brother, Kevin (Cheryl) Labarre, Wadena, MN., her mother-in-law, Maxine Corradi, and two sister-in-laws, Maria (John) Kritz and Lisa Corradi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (Schiller) LaBarre, brother, Paul LaBarre, both paternal and maternal grandparents, and a miscarried child in heaven.
Memorial services for Charlene will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Open Door Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Roland Weaver will officiate. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
