Charles T. Carmody, 58, Hibbing died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at home. He was born on February 18, 1958 to Richard and Lila (Gangl) Carmody in Grand Rapids, MN. He was most recently employed as a cashier with Wal-Mart in Hibbing.
Charles enjoyed poker, trivia since he was a little boy, was a tattoo enthusiast, taking drives in his car, history, watching documentaries, singing, playing drums, reading, and pursuing various collections. Most of all, his daughter Kalyn was his entire world, she meant everything to him.
He is survived by his daughter Kalyn Ziebarth, Hibbing, siblings, Richard (Tina) Carmody, Hibbing, Bridget (Kim) Blum, Hibbing, Ken Carmody, Eveleth, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Andrew Carmody in 2015.
Funeral services for Charles will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
