Charles Anthony Facchinni

Charles “Chuck” Anthony Facchinni, age 66, of Nashwauk passed away

Friday, August 16, 2024, at his home. He was born September 27, 1957,

to Joseph and Miriam (Nuorala) Facchinni in Hibbing. Chuck was a jack-of-

all-trades and exceptional at electrical, plumbing, and mechanics to name

just a few. He was a talented musician and even built his own guitars.

Chuck had many friends that were like family, and he always liked to have

a good time. His excellent sense of humor ensured there would never be a

dull moment. Chuck always found solace being in the woods and fishing

out on the lake. He had a sweet tooth, which was kept in check by his wife

Georgie’s baking and excellent cooking. Chuck always loved spending

time with his grandson, Leo, whom he truly adored. He is survived by his

wife, Georganna “Georgie” Facchinni, sons, Beau and Joseph (Chantel)

Facchinni, stepdaughter, Ashley (Larry) Folstad, many grandchildren,

nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Chuck was preceded in death by

his parents Joseph and Miriam, siblings, John Facchinni, Anna Gangl, and

Sara Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2024, at

Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Visitation will be held one hour prior

to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Nashwauk

Cemetery. A toast to Chuck and a light reception will follow at Wizard’s in

Nashwauk.
