Charles Scott Nash
Charles Scott Nash, 58, Nashwauk, died Monday, January 5, 2015, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was born in Hibbing to Francis and Agnes (Violette) Nash on July 3, 1956. Scott had been a Boy Scout Leader, coached Pony League football, was former Commander of the GI Club in Nashwauk and was a U. S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Nashwauk Fire and Ambulance Dept., and St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk. Scott had been employed at Heritage Manor in Chisholm for many years.
He will be missed by his wife, Brenda; children: Brandon (Lisa Peratalo) Nash, Nashwauk, Randy (Tanya) Nash, Keewatin, Threasa (Steve Shopp) Richards, Hibbing, and Hannah (Tyler Roberts) Nash, Nashwauk; siblings: Pat (Laura) Nash, Denver, CO, John (Barbara) Nash, Elizabeth, CO, Julie Eskeli, Nashwauk, Kathy Nash, Chisholm, Dick Nash, Hibbing, Ed Nash, Keewatin, and Violet (Dwight) Gilbright, Ankeny, Iowa; 10 grandchildren: Justin and Jordan Peratalo, Halie and Jager Nash, Daymein Allen, Emma Nash, Kennedy, Brokke, Jillian and Preston Richards; in-laws, Clem (Pat) Allison, Boston, Mass., Terri (Joe) Koman, Hibbing, Steve (Tammy) Allison, Hibbing, Bev (Jim) Marolt, Hibbing, many nieces, nephews, and his dog, Toby. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Francis, Irene, and Don, and mother and father in law, John & Threasa Allison.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. Sunday, January 11, 2015 in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church with visitation in Church, Sunday beginning at Noon. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing. Military Honors will be accorded by the Mid Range Honor Guard.
