Charles V. Thompson
Charles V. Thompson, 52, Hibbing, died Friday, February 27, 2015, in his home. He was born in Hibbing on Sept. 7, 1962, to Kenneth and Margaret Thompson. Charles graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked as a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 49. He loved riding his Harley—Davidson, fishing, spending time with his kids, and his dog, Junior. Charles had an amazing sense of humor and was always willing to fix the cars of his daughter and nieces. He was a great dad, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Thompson, of Burtrum, MN; a son, Jesse Thompson, of Burtrum, MN; his mother, Margaret Boyce, of Chisholm; three sisters: Kathleen Wauzynski of Hibbing, Debra (John) Swearinger of Peoria, IL, and Hannah Jaynes of Chisholm; and by several nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Thompson.
