Charlotte M. Pulling

Charlotte M. Pulling, 74, Hibbing, MN, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, in Hibbing,  surrounded by family.  She was born July 7, 1942, to Allyn and Hazel Clark.  She grew up in Floodwood MN, graduating from high school in 1960.  She obtained her nursing degree from the St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1963.  In that same year she married Yale Pulling and they settled in Hibbing in 1968.  Charlotte worked at the Hibbing General Hospital as the Emergency Room Nursing Supervisor and retired from Fairview Range Medical Center as an infection control practitioner and education coordinator.  Boating, traveling or anything that had to do with food and family were her favorite times.  She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and taking care of her garden, especially her blueberry patch.  She also relished her membership in the Old Fart’s Birthday Club.

She is survived by her husband Yale, her children Kim (Craig) Giermann of Chisholm, MN, Kent Pulling of Hibbing and Chris (Ann) Pulling of Dayton, MN, 2 brothers: Richard (Shirley) Clark of Floodwood, MN and Steven (Linda) Clark of Cloquet, MN, her grandchildren Alexandra, Jake, Jonah, Madison, Sydni, Jagger, Eliot, Henry and Olive along with her faithful companion Berry.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 in the Wesley United Methodist Church, Hibbing.  Visitation will be in the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
