Clifford E. Nickerson

Clifford E. Nickerson age 80 of Hibbing, MN passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Cliff was born in Hannah, ND on July 6, 1944, to Warren and Vivian (Harbin) Nickerson.

He graduated from Hannah High School in 1962. After graduating he stayed at home to help on the family farm. In 1965 he enlisted in the US Air Force, later serving in Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge from the military Cliff worked with his brother-in-law, Walt Decker, in Fargo, ND. Later, he went on to work with his brother- in-law, Frank Guedesse in Gillette, WY. In his spare time Cliff enjoyed fishing, reading and being around his family. 

He is survived by his son, Travis Nickerson, brother-in-law, Walt Decker, grandson, Devin Nickerson, step-grandchildren, Josh Aikey and Jessica Davey, step-great-grandchildren, Aria, and Wesley Davey. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Vivian, siblings, Albert Nickerson, Dolly Guedesse, Faye Guedesse, Sharen Decker, and Clarice Nickerson. 

A private burial will be held at the Hannah Cemetery in Hannah, ND later.
