Colleen A. Blade

Colleen A. Blade, Cloverdale, died Saturday March 9, 2019 at Majestic Pines in Grand Rapids. She was born north of Nashwauk to William and Mary (Coleman) Dodson on January 24, 1933.  She had been employed with the Blackduck School District as a teacher for many years.  After retiring and the death of her husband Vernon she moved back to north of Nashwauk.

She is survived by her children, Frank (Nancy) Weber, Nashwauk, Roger (Mary Jo) Weber, Nashwauk , Joe (Tami) Weber, Blackduck, Roy (Cheryl) Weber, North Pole, Alaska and Ann (Bruce) Anderson, Tucson, AZ, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Blade, her sons, James Weber and infant Robert Weber, siblings, Pat, James, and Jack Burbie and Tommy and Betty Dodson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Tuesday March 19, 2019  in the Nashwauk Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in the Nashwauk Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
