Constance G. Heino, 69, Balkan, died Wednesday August 1, 2012, at home in Balkan. She was born in Grand Rapids, MN on June 21, 1943, to Conard and Jeanette Fox. Connie grew up Pengilly and graduated from Greenway High School in 1961. She was united in marriage to Jerry Heino on Oct. 28, 1961 in Coleraine, and they had made their home in Balkan for over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Jerry Heino, of Balkan; a daughter, Debbie (Stephen) Maki of Hibbing; a son, Todd (Renee) Heino of Buhl; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and by her brother, Lee Fox.
At Connie’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine. Funeral arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing
