Constance Florence “Tancy” Rossini
Constance Florence “Tancy”  Rossini, 91, Hibbing, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Chisholm.  She was born in Ploesti, Romania on September 14, 1922 to Stefan and Dumitra “Cece” Constantinescu.  She grew up in Romania and was united in marriage to Aldo Rossini, a US Serviceman, in Romania in 1946.  She immigrated to the United States in July 1947 and became a US citizen in 1951.  She and Aldo settled in Hibbing where she raised her family and worked for 15 years as an aide supervisor at Leisure Hill Nursing Home.  Tancy was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose, and VFW Post 8510 Women’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Steven A. (Janice) Rossini of Hibbing; a daughter-in-law, Carol Rossini, of Hibbing; grandsons Patrick M. (Amy) Rossini and Steven M. Rossini, both of Hibbing; and great-grandchildren Gianna, Rocco, Lucia, and Lane.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldo, in 1991; by a son, Patrick J. Rossini, in 1998; and by her parents.
Visitation will be Monday January 13, 2014, at Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Patrick M. Rossini, Steven M. Rossini, Jack Vespa, Maurice Marcucci, Pete Marcucci, and Michael Kempa.
