Dale J. Gannarelli
Dale J. Gannarelli, 81, Keewatin, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 in the Heritage Manor Health Care Center, Chisholm, MN.  He was born Nov. 27, 1932 in Keewatin and was a veteran of the Korean War.  Dale had worked all of his life in the mining industry.  After working for the Hanna Mining Co. he retired as an electrical supervisor at National Steel.  He was a member of the Keewatin American Legion and the Keewatin Loyal Order of Moose.  In his free time Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Luella, daughters; Laura Gannarelli of Chicago, IL and Teri Gannarelli of New York City, NY, a sister,  Mae Ellen “Tootsie” Whaley  and a brother; Anthony Gannarelli both of St. Cloud, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Darrell Gannarelli.
According to Dale’s wishes, the family is planning a private funeral service.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
