Daniel Arthur Hemphill
Daniel A. Hemphill, 52, Hibbing, died Friday, October 26, 2012, in Hibbing.  He was born in Chisholm, MN on November 4, 1959, to Edward and Irene Hemphill.  Dan grew up in Side Lake and graduated from Hibbing High School.  He had worked as a welder for Electric Power Door Company in Hibbing.  He was an excellent fisherman and hunter.   Dan and Terri Roath were united in marriage on Sept. 6, 1979, in Hibbing.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Hemphill, of Hibbing; two daughters, Celeste Hemphill of Germantown, MD and Crystal Hemphill of Hibbing; his mother, Irene Hemphill of Side Lake; a sister, Pat (Dale) Urdahl of Chisholm; 4 brothers:  Mike (Terri) Hemphill and Jerry (Teresa) Hemphill, both of Chisholm, Kevin (Michelle) Jackson of Eveleth and Dawayne (Jan) Heiden of St. Paul, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 30, 2012, from 11AM—1PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Hibbing.
Funeral service will be 1 PM Tuesday October 30, 2012, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  The Rev. Steve Breitbarth will officiate.  Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.  To sign the online guest register, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
