Daniel M. Rajkovich Jr., 56, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at home. He was born on January 9, 1956 to Daniel and Janemarie (Hooper) Rajkovich Sr., in Hibbing. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic for KeeTac in Keewatin, MN. His hobbies were centered around sports. He loved hunting, fishing, playing baseball, watching his children play sports, and coaching football.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rajkovich, his four children, Michael Rajkovich, Anthony Rajkovich, Sara (Shane) Maki, and Nicole Rajkovich, all of Hibbing, his mother, Janemarie “Dolly” Rajkovich, Hibbing, four brothers, David Rajkovich, Hibbing, Dennis (Kim) Rajkovich, East Bethel, MN., Doug (Renae) Rajkovich, Hibbing, and Darryl (Jackie) Rajkovich, Hibbing, three grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, and Jacob Maki, and his nieces and nephews, Shanna, Alexandra, Tyler, and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Rajkovich Sr.
Funeral services for Daniel will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. Anthony Craig will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:30am until the 1:00pm., funeral at the funeral home on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
