David Joseph Opacich
David J. Opacich, 58, Hibbing, died Sunday, September 13, 2015, in his home. He was born in Chisholm, MN on May 2, 1957, to Rody and Grace Opacich. David graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked as a self-employed handyman. He enjoyed playing disc golf, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by two sons: Shawn (Kelli) Opacich, Hibbing, and Tony Opacich, White Bear Lake, MN; his mother, Grace Anderson, of Hibbing; by three siblings: Brenda (Bob) Maras, Sally (Ray) Belanger, and Roddy Opacich, all of Hibbing; three grandchildren: Kaylee, Jacob, and Stella; and by numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Rody Opacich; by a brother, Dan Opacich, and by a sister, Linda Wilson.
