Debra Mckay

Debra Ann McKay, age 60 of Eveleth, Minnesota, died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

She was born to Wesley and Loretta McKay on August 3, 1961 in Duluth, Minnesota.

Debra loved balloons, music and playing with her soccer ball. She was a blessing to all whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her siblings: Wesley (Irene) McKay of Mahtowa, MN; Elizabeth (Gene) Kroll of Ely, MN; Daniel (Katie) McKay of Meadowlands, MN; Virginia McKay of Biwabik, MN; Mary (Kirk) Anderson of Britt, MN; John (Kelly) McKay of Plymouth, MN and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Loretta, McKay.

The family thanks the staff of Lutheran Social Services South Ridge Group Home for their excellent care over these past twelve years.

A private family funeral mass will be held on July 9, 2022. Funeral arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing.
