Dennis William Kmett, Sr.
Dennis W. Kmett, Sr., 70, Hibbing, died Friday, January 3, 2013, at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  He was born in Chisholm, MN on June 21, 1943, to Frank and Ruth (Murray) Kmett.  Dennis loved drag racing and working on cars.  He had a strong faith in Jesus which he would share with everyone.
He is survived by three children:  Frank (Shari) Kmett of Rochester, MN, Donna (Bob) Maxie and Dennis Kmett, Jr., both of Hibbing; a brother, Curtis Kmett of Hibbing; and four grandchildren:  Luke Stenroos of Hibbing, Tori Dicklich of Oregon, Elliot Kmett of Chisholm, and Carter Kmett of Rochester; and by many other relatives.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Kmett; a son, Michael Kmett;  and by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 10, 2013, at Hibbing Christian Assembly.  Visitation will be Friday from Noon until 1 PM in the church.  Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
