Dolores A. Cerar

Dolores A. Cerar, 93, Dilworth, MN, formerly of Hibbing, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 in her home.  She was born June 26, 1923 in Mt. Iron, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Magajna.  Dolores married Stanley Cerar on Jan. 1, 1944.  Their loving marriage lasted until his death in 1997.  Dolores’ family was her passion.  She loved them all, prayed for them and was very proud of all of them.  She especially enjoyed cooking delicious meals for them.

She is survived by her children: Rod (Judie) Cerar of Apple Valley, MN, Jeanne (Michael) Besemann of Hibbing and Deacon Tom (Marsha) Cerar of Dilworth, MN, her brother and sisters Esther Cerar of Plymouth, MN, William (Dorothy) Magajna of Hibbing and Marjorie (Quinto) Bocchi of Bloomington, MN, her sisters-in-law Dorothy Wolowicki and Alberta Lah, her grandchildren: Dan (Leza) Besemann, Daryl Besemann, Stephanie (Tom) Campbell, Sara (Steve) Dobin, Lee (Christine) Cerar, David (Keiza) Besemann, Renee (Steve) Tangen, Mark (Amanda) Besemann, Jason (Stacey) Cerar, Robert (Kate) Besemann, Matt Cerar and Jennifer (Tyler) Johnson, 2 step-grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and10 step-great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Hibbing.  Visitation will be in the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.  Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing
