Donald N. Holso, 64, Forbes, died Monday October 1, 2012, at Fairview University Medical Center—Mesabi, Hibbing. He was born March 23, 1948, in Virginia, MN to Neilo and Viola Holso. He graduated from high school and had worked as an artist and musician. Donald was a talented individual who enjoyed trapping, hunting, photography and painting. He could play most any instrument.
He is survived by 2 sons: Jeremiah Holso of Virginia and Travis Holso of Hibbing; 3 sisters: Kathy (Dan) Liesmaki of Maple Grove, MN, Carol (Dan) Pedersen of Cottage Grove, MN, and Cynthia (Raymond) Tracy of Canyon, MN; 3 grandchildren: Ian Holso, Darion Holso, and Quenton Holso; numerous nieces and nephews, and one great-niece, CJ. He was preceded in death by his parents.
