Donna Mae Wright, 50, Nashwauk, died peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015, in her home surrounded by family.  She was born on Oct. 21, 1964, in Fosston, MN to James and Karleen Rossell.  Donna grew up in Pengilly and graduated from Greenway High School in 1983.  For many years, Donna provided foster care in her home with her former spouse, Jody Wright.  She had most recently worked at Super 8 motel in Eveleth.  Donna was an active volunteer for all of her children’s activities, especially with the Nashwauk Wrestling Club.  She attended Nashwauk Alliance Church where she loved and was loved by the church members whom she considered her extended family.  She loved her children unconditionally.  Donna loved her Lord, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her children, J.J. (Hannah Johnson) Wright and Tessa Wright, both of Nashwauk; her mother, Karleen Rossell, of Nashwauk; her fiancé, Ken Wilsey, of Eveleth; a brother, Duane (Christa) Rossell of Chisholm; nieces Emily and Kiera Rabbitt and nephew, James Rossell; her former in-laws, Jerry and Ann Wright of Nashwauk; and by her beloved dog, Kemo.  Donna was preceded in death by her father, James Rossell and by her grandparents.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2014, from 1 PM until the 2 PM funeral service in Nashwauk Alliance Church.  Interment will be in Nashwauk Cemetery at a later date.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
