Drake Lee Bays, 22 months, Gilbert, formerly of Hibbing, died Saturday, February 18, 2012, in Northern Pines Medical Center, Aurora.  He was born on April 5, 2010, in Duluth, MN to Mindy Waldron and Kenneth Bays, Jr.
Drake is survived by his parents, Mindy Waldron of Hibbing and Kenneth Bays, Jr. of Grand Rapids, MN; a brother, Eithen Bays of Hibbing; 2  half sisters, Summer Bays and Lilly Bays, both of Hibbing; his foster parents, Trudy and Dwayne Roth of Gilbert; Drake’s nursing staff; maternal grandparents Mary Waldron of Hibbing and LeRoy Waldron of Leetonia; paternal grandmother Linda (Jim) Sarzan of Iowa; maternal great-grandparents Myra and John Moore of Hibbing; 3 aunts:  Misty Waldron of Hibbing and Misty and Amanda, both of Texas; an uncle, Mike Waldron of Leetonia; his godmother, Stacey Fox, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
