Eddie Oscar Trupukka
Eddie Oscar Trupukka, 99, Buhl, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Hibbing.  He was born on February 15, 1914 in New York Mills, MN to Fred and Marey Trupukka. Mr. Trupukka was a Veteran of WW II serving in the European Theater and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was formerly employed with U.S. Steel for over 30 years.  Ed was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church in Buhl.
He is survived by two sons, Paul (Linda) Sundquist, Apple Valley, Arthur (Melanie) Sundquist, Powder Springs, GA, daughter, Judy Bouchard, Mpls., two sisters, Bealah “Pat” (Don) Payne, in AZ, and Beatrice Muckala, New York Mills, MN, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.  Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, brother, Walter Trupukka, and his sister, Bernice Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Dougherty Funeral Home with visitation for one hour before the service.  Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Post 8510. Burial will be in the Buhl Cemetery.
