Edgar E. Peterson, 87, Hibbing, died Thursday, Nov. 10. 2016 in the Hillcrest Alice assisted living home. He was born May 5, 1929 in Norman County near Ada, Mn, the son of Henry and Sophie Peterson. Edgar moved to Hibbing in 1952 and had worked for over 45 years as an auto body repairman working for Hilligoss Chevrolet, Bruno’s Auto Body and John’s Auto Body. In his free time, he loved to tend his garden and take care of the lawn.
He is survived by his wife Leona, daughters: Julie (Alan) Bexell and Kami (Joe) Bonelli both of Hibbing, grandsons: Ethan Bexell and Aaron (Alysha) Bonelli, and his great-granddaughter Abigail Bonelli.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Private family memorial services are planned. Memorials may be directed to the American Alzheimer’s Assoc. or North Star Hospice.
