Edna Beverly Gerou
Edna B. Gerou, 93, Chisholm, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Fairview Range Medical Center, Hibbing.  She was born on May 17, 1921, in Breckenridge, MN to David and Pearl Bezenek.  Edna and her husband, Francis, owned and operated a bar in Mooreton, ND prior to moving to Kelly Lake, where Edna worked as a nurse’s aid at Mesaba Regional Medical Center.  They later settled in Chisholm, where Edna worked as a house parent with Range Center, Inc.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Dan Gerou of Englewood, CO; a daughter, Debbie Moore, of Bremerton, WA; and by three grandchildren:  Nicole, Jessey, and Stacey.  Edna was preceded in death by her husband; by her parents; and by a brother, Don, and a sister, Phyllis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, in Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10—11 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Mooreton, ND at a later date.
