Elaine Laura Turk, 95, Hibbing, died on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Spectrum Health Care in Ely.  She fought a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease and maintained her feisty spirit until her death.  She was born on August 21, 1918, in Superior, WI to Herman and Laura Deger.  She was raised in Mahoning Location and became a lifelong resident of Hibbing.
